The show is actually made to humiliate the females.The concept of this show is unethical. Splitsvilla has made the girls cheap. The girls are dancing,flirting for having the boys. To make the girls more desperate, MTV announced after the starting of the show that the each couple of this show will have 2 or 5 lacs rupee(im not sure about the amount) and they will also get the chance to host a show.
Splitsvilla is showing that the girls dont have self-respect. All the 20 girls are there to convince 2 guys. It reminds me of slaves. But in this modern era no one is slave of anyone. How can MTV make a show like this!!!! The show called ROADIES was a good show. It was an adventurous show. But what the hell is SPLITSVILLA. Only the boys have the power to abuse and dump girls. The girls are only there to entertain the boys. Girls are the slave and the boys are there to chose the girls. every person who has sensibility should stand against this show. We should remember that male and female are equal. This show is representing the girls as PRODUCT.
Many people are becoming fans of this show. It is a great regret that they are disgrace to themselves.
MTV should ban this show right now. They are sending a wrong message about love,girls and relationship. Love is a feeling. Love is about making the right decisions about relationship. Love is not cheap. I am very sorry to say that th girls who took part on that show, they don't have self-respect.
i watch the programme pretty regularly and me too ve the similar feeling , i wonder wht kinds of girls come to join the show - how do their family allow them doing such , infact the greater question is how do they allow themselves to do such to their ownselves.

girls r already used as commodities in medias and this Splitsvilla adds further disgrace to girls esteem and social position. just look at the way the girls sell themselves in the show- astounding !!!
here girls r mere tools where love is made into nothing but a nasty game subject of Splitsvilla.

ReplyDeletei have discussed this topic with many people.......the sad thing is most of the people said 2 me that take it lightly......its just a show.....u think 2 deeply etc etc.....very few people agree with me.....i feel helpless on that time....
they also say tht y r u fighting 4 those girls....they were not forced 2 this show
but i will say one thing.....that the show is not only presenting those girls only.....it is also presenting the girs in a wrong and cheap way.....
some of the supporter of that show said 2 me that dont jst scream like a retard.....if u have the power then ban this show......but sorry 2 say that im not that much powerful

When I saw the POSTER to the show and its ad, I lost every interest to ever watch it, and have every guess what could go on in there. And I was completely right. I have no words, I wonder how completely BRAINWASHED these girls grew up as...to have lost every idea of dignity to join something like this. This is something that pains me a lot. The so called 'modernization' by sacrificing dignity. In the past, women were timid and ruled over by men. Now they are "independent" and CHOOSE to be ruled over by men.....which one is worse, really?? And Indian shows often import ideas from western shows so.....remember "The Bachelor" and "Joe Millionaire"??? They even had sequels...man, does anybody give SOME thought to these things???

ReplyDeleteIts gr8 that we are makeing noise about this terrible distastfull show..i really cant understand why MTV is associating itself with this brainless show, specially at a age n time when we are trying to fight away stereotype and downright selfish motivation..I have nothing for de stupid,dumb girls takeing part in de show to be dumped/judged by those two cheap man who needs a big honest kick in de ass..Plz girls, friends of the participants, families plz plz tell them to 'get a life' this is so not on n dont forget to disown them when they come back!!!
